The 6th CMGS attracted 1,015 enterprises from more than 50 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition, of which foreign exhibitors accounted for 35%. 16 main activities were organized including centralized exhibition and sale, mineral crystal photography competition and museum forums. 

 

What’s more, Chenzhou has built the International Mineral and Gem Business Street and Linwu Gem and Jade Culture Industrial Park to develop its mineral and gem industry into a new business form and new model and to cultivate many new economic growth points. 

 

 

 

 

Now, the International Mineral and Gem Business Street has long-term exhibition and sale of products from well-known businesses from China and other countries like the United States, India and Morocco. And a number of exhibitors are under negotiation. Linwu Gem and Jade Culture Industrial Park opened on May 19, attracting more than 60 jewelry and jade merchants. 

 

The five-day CMGE has brought major development opportunities for Chenzhou’s nonferrous metals, tourism and culture, boutique exhibitions and other industries. It has a huge driving effect on the tertiary industries such as hotels, transportation and catering. The daily flow of high-speed railway passengers in the city has increased by about 20%, and the number of tourists and hotel occupancy in scenic areas has risen significantly as well.

 

At the investment promotion conference on May 18, 15 major projects were signed on site with a total value of 4.7 billion yuan. And 8 strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Chenzhou City and enterprises like Niban Group and Huaqiang Group, with a total value of 55 billion yuan.
